Into a big voyage of life. Stage 2

Little Maksym is seriously ill for almost a year. The boy has a terrible hematologic disease: plastic anemia. To maintain a proper level of hemoglobin and other tests results he regular receives blood and platelet transfusions. On the other hand, as a result of such manipulations the level of iron in the boy’s blood is exceed the limit that is harmful because it “rusts” in the body. There will be bone marrow transplantation, but now it is needed almost 50 thousand UAH for the medications to decrease iron level in blood of the child. But the parents don't have money for the medicines. 

Maksym likes to go to school, to read, to make different things. He has a friendly family; they love each other and people around them. The boy likes sports, especially football. He has a team with which they won together. But now he has to protect himself, to be careful, so that his blood test results were at the proper level. For Maksym it is important to overcome a serious disease, that’s why he has to spend a lot of time at home in his village or at the hospital. Being responsible like an adult Maksym refuses to play active ball games with his friends or to go diving into the river in hot days.

The boy is committed to fighting the disease. And his fight will last for months. There will be bone marrow transplantation. But now his task is to get rid of excess iron from his body. For it he needs medicines for more than 50,000 UAH. The family received the medicines at the department but then they run out of supplies. The situation with the purchase of new parties of medicines at public expense is sad... The only hope is help of kind people.
