For three years Ania has been fighting against a serious disease – rhabdomyosarcoma of the foot with metastases in the brain. Each disease is unique but Ania’s case is the first in Ukraine. Only a few patients with a similar diagnosis are registered in the world, that’s why a treatment protocol just doesn’t exist. In the Turkish clinic, Aniuta was treated with the newest device Truebeam and the Ukrainian doctors started individual chemotherapy scheme. Seven cycles produced a positive result but the therapy cannot be interrupted. Eight more vials of the drug Avastin for the total amount of more than 60 000 UAH are required.

Anichka has been ill since 2015. She had pain in the leg and a swelling that was treated like a hematoma. Two months later the surgeon recommended them to go to the oncologist. At the Institute of Cancer, a diagnosis was made: rhabdomyosarcoma of the foot. After prolonged treatment, the tumor gave metastases to the brain which surprised even foreign doctors. Protocols for such a course of the disease are not developed at all. The Ukrainian specialists are hoping for innovative treatment and offer individual therapy in combination with Avastin. The parents ask for a helping. Give Ania a chance to live!
