District Hospital of Nadvirna town in Ivano-Frankivsk region is going to turn into interdistrict Perinatal Center, the reconstruction of its buildings has started already. But money is tight as usual. Kindly ask you to help us raise the money for resuscitation equipment for babies. As a result of the funds raised it will be decided what equipment should be bought first.

Nadvirna Central Regional Hospital (CRH) in Ivano-Frankivsk region - facility for 370 beds. Maternity Hospital, Children's Hospital, 3 urban hospitals and 7 village clinics are subordinate to it. 265 doctors work in these institutions. Much attention is paid to the health of mother and child. Recently works on the reconstruction of the hospital have started. As a result of the reorganization of the health system Nadvirnyansky CRH will be converted to interdistrict perinatal center, which will provide highly skilled assistance to pregnant women, mothers and newborns. Requirements to inter perinatal center are extremely high, and a lot of money are to be invested in the reconstruction of buildings and purchase of medical equipment.

Currently 2 equipped work stations for NICU are needed because the center will assist premature and sick babies from Nadvirna and neighboring districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region. In particular, it is necessary to have sets of mechanical ventilation, cardio-respiratory monitors, the source of radiant heat, resuscitation kits. Unfortunately, the budget is always lacking and the institution requires sponsorship very much.

The maternity hospital has experienced neonatologists who created all the conditions for the provision of intensive care nursing of children in critical condition. Staff of the hospital takes the initiative and is interested in improving neonatal intensive care unit, and by any chance try to get additional training. Experts of the institution constantly work to improve their skills, often participate in training programs conducted in Ukraine by international organizations and programs. Necessary equipment will allow doctors to fully apply the latest knowledge and skills to save lives of newborns.
