Yegor is a smiling, inquisitive and cheerful boy who has delighted his parents with his bright character since the first days. He loves to draw, play with his pet cat Busia, build with a constructor, walk with friends, is actively involved in football and, like all children, dreams of a carefree childhood. But 3 years ago, the family's life changed when his mother first heard the terrible diagnosis of her son – type 1 diabetes.
The first months after the diagnosis, Yegor and his parents lived with great hope. They still managed to keep their sugar levels down without insulin, strictly following the diet and doctors' recommendations. But almost a year later, a new, difficult life began, in which the boy's every day now passes with numerous insulin injections and painful finger pricks.
The mother admits that the most painful thing is not the needles, but the fact that her little son has become accustomed to the pain. Yegor patiently inserts his fingers to measure his sugar level – several times a day, day and night. And even despite this – he continues to smile, because he is strong, like a real little warrior.
To make his daily struggle easier, a modern sensor for continuous glucose monitoring is needed. This device allows you to constantly monitor your blood sugar level, warns of dangerous fluctuations and helps you avoid high or very low sugar levels. For Yegor, this is a chance to live without constant pain, and for his mother, it is an opportunity to sleep peacefully at night, knowing that her son is safe.
But, unfortunately, such sensors need regular replacement and are very expensive. This is an unbearable amount for the family, so they are turning to all caring hearts for help!
