Motherhood is one of the most important missions in the world. And being a mother during the war is especially difficult, but this is
the reality of many Ukrainian women. For every mother, the greatest gift is a healthy child. Therefore, especially for Mother's Day, together with EVA, we are launching a charity event "Thank you, Mom!" in support of the project "Ultrasound system to save premature babies".
After all, war does not put life on pause: a new generation is born even in wartime. But, unfortunately, due to the additional stress of mothers, the number of prematurely born children has increased in Ukraine. Thanks to the "Thank you, Mom" project, EVA and
Charity Foundation KOLO decided not only to congratulate mothers on the holiday, but also to help ensure that as many children as possible to be healthy. The goal of the project is the purchase of a high-class ultrasound system for the department of intensive care and early rehabilitation of prematurely born children of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.

Considering the complexity and seriousness of the condition of children, the department needs a high-class diagnostic apparatus with a special set of sensors for examining newborns. The department has 25 beds (of which 3 are surgical), 120-150 newborns weighing 500
grams or more are treated annually on the basis of the department, with particularly complex neonatal cases. The war made its adjustments and 10-15% of patients are children of temporarily displaced parents. The portability of the ultrasound device is very important, since the diagnosis must be carried out at the bedside, the previous portable ultrasound device has already failed and cannot be restored (it has already worked for 15 years). Now it is necessary to transport small patients to another floor to the stationary ultrasound system with a transport oxygen cylinder, which is undesirable and risky for newborn patients. The timeliness and appropriateness of the care provided, and therefore their future, depends on the timeliness and quality of ultrasound imaging during the examination and diagnosis of young patients.

The cost of this equipment is UAH 1,356,000 at the expense of donors, UAH 491,630 has already been collected to the Foundation. Thanks to the charity event "Thank you, Mom!" we plan to collect the remaining funds in the amount of UAH 864,370 and purchase an ultrasound machine to newborns. You can help with your donation here, or until May 31 inclusive, repost the Mother's Day greeting post from the EVA page, leave your best wishes in the comments under this post, tag the moms you want to congratulate and use
#thankyoumom. On June 1, EVA will convert all reposts and comments into charitable assistance for the purchase of an ultrasound machine.

We don't just wish mothers a happy Mother’s Day, but also want to help as many children as possible to be healthy and their mothers to be happy. We believe that by joint efforts we will collect the necessary amount and by Children's Day - June 1 - we will share
the good news that the ultrasound machine is already in the hospital and is helping to save newborns.

Dear Mothers, we congratulate you on your holiday and wish you to be happy with your loved ones!
