Anton has a chance to get out of the cart. 2
Almost since birth, Anton has been living with one kidney and has a disability group. But this did not stop him from leading an active lifestyle. After graduating from high school, Anton entered Dnipro Agrarian University. Later, he became an agronomist. He has always felt drawn to working with machinery, so now he is continuing his studies as an agricultural engineer.
But an ordinary-looking cold completely changed his life. Doctors could not determine the diagnosis for two months. During this time, Anton went from being an active young man to a wheelchair-bound person who cannot even get out of bed without help. Treatment was useless. The guy lived with high fever for four months. Finally, Anton was prescribed a very expensive drug called Khairimoz, which began to show results. For some time, the family's savings were enough. Then philanthropists joined in. After six months of treatment, Anton underwent an MRI. The results showed positive dynamics by reducing the intensity of swelling, but the disease has not yet receded. The rheumatologist recommended continuing the treatment plan for another 6 months.
Anton is from a family of IDPs, where, in addition to him, there are his mother and grandparents. His mother works in a kindergarten, but the rent for the house “eats up” all the money, and the heating season has already begun. The family has not received IDP benefits since March. Anton needs help with his treatment!
