The project “Vision defects prevent Oleksiy from becoming a miner” was posted on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange dobro.ua, the purpose of which is to raise funds for the treatment of Oleksiy Petrovych Zapolsky, whose diagnosis is Retinal detachment of the right eye.
The website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange “UBB” collected funds in the amount of UAH 29,000.00. With the funds collected through the website dobro.ua, the “I Hope and Believe” Foundation purchased:

• 1 set of medical materials necessary for an ophthalmic operation worth UAH 27,001.45, and transferred them to O.Yu. Zapolsky on July 16, 2025.

The eye operation was performed using laser surgery by doctors from the Center for Eye Microsurgery of “OKHMATDYT”. The operation was successful. After the operation and examination by specialists, the child was prescribed eye drops and discharged home.
The remaining funds in the amount of 1,998.55 UAH were used by the aid operator for administrative needs (payment for cargo transportation).
The “I Hope and Believe” Foundation is sincerely grateful to the donors of the “UBB” Foundation for the support of Oleksiy Petrovych Zapolsky.
