Your support can change Vika’s life

In September 2025, the project “Your Support Can Change Vika’s Life” was launched on the dobro.ua platform. The aim of the project was to raise funds to purchase hearing aids for Viktoriia Puzyr, who has been diagnosed with bilateral chronic sensorineural hearing loss of grades II–III. The total fundraising target amounted to UAH 85,200.00.

At the beginning of November, the fundraising campaign was successfully completed, after which we paid for the hearing aids for Vika. Due to family circumstances, the mother and child were only able to attend a doctor’s appointment on November 26. On that day, Viktoriia received her hearing aids, which were professionally fitted and adjusted to meet her individual needs.

Viktoriia is 11 years old. She was born a completely healthy child; however, at the age of three her life changed dramatically—after a severe case of tonsillitis, the girl lost her hearing. Since then, hearing aids have been her only way to fully perceive the world: to hear her mother’s voice, the laughter of her friends, and her teachers’ explanations.

Currently, Viktoriia studies at the Maria Pokrova Specialized School in Lviv. She is diligent, curious, dreams about the future, and strives to live an active and fulfilling life. Without hearing aids, the world for her was becoming increasingly quiet and distant, which is why the assistance provided is truly invaluable.
