Mom is telling: 

"Our beloved and long-awaited daughter Vasylynka is one year and four months old, and we have already gone through a lot of things. Immediately after birth - a very difficult operation in the process of which most of the small intestine was removed and the stoma was opened. Will the intestine be able to work properly? Nobody gave any prognoses or guarantees. The second operation, stoma reversal surgery, was successful. My daughter proved to everyone that she would live in spite of everything and everyone. 

Three difficult months away from home and the family have come to an end and, finally, we are at home. It seemed that the worst was behind us and we could live in peace and enjoy life. But here is a new lifelong test. The terrible diagnosis of cystic fibrosis was confirmed. A lot of questions appeared: why did it happen to us, what to do next, how to live with it? Everyday 

inhalations, pills, vitamins, antibiotic therapy, exercises, massages, fresh air and proper nutrition with a high fat content - this is our salvation. Any infection is very dangerous for us and can lead to a long and debilitating treatment. It is better to avoid it. Now I am absolutely sure that everything will be fine. The main thing is that we have her. Curious, smiling and cheerful. And we will do our best to make her a happy child".
