Oleh's hardships

A congenital brain defect, microcephaly, Dandy-Walker syndrome, epilepsy, cognitive disorders and speech impairment – these are the diagnoses Oleh has been fighting for 6 years.  

The baby was born and grew up a healthy boy, but his mother's heart knew something was wrong: her baby was not developing like other children. At 8 months, the woman sounded the alarm and went with her son to a consultation. From there, the boy was sent to OKHMATDYT, and it went on and on... MRI, geneticists, tests, hospitals... Oleh's mother will never forget those days.

Oleh was immediately diagnosed with congenital microcephaly, and later MRI results confirmed Dandy-Walker syndrome. Despite this, the doctors prescribed treatment and allowed him to attend rehabilitation, and things improved a bit. However, when Oleh turned 2 years old and started to crawl and stand on his own, a new challenge came - epilepsy. This is how the epilepsy treatment began, which continues to this day.

Now Oleh is 7 years old, he tiptoes because of the strong tone in his legs, eats broken food, says only "trrr" and needs 3-4 rehabilitation sessions a year. The boy loves children and wants to communicate, he is a very bright child. We can help Oleh - the financial support of the project will help him to go to a new rehabilitation course.
