Roma is only 2 years old but he has passed a long way fighting his terrible disease. After a few weeks his treatment at the hospital in Kyiv comes to an end but to overcome the disease it is necessary to undergo additional therapy at the medical center abroad. Everything started in the early summer of 2013. Roma’s mother, a doctor by profession, began to notice some warning symptoms like blood in the urine, so they applied to the specialist immediately. Ultrasound scan detected a tumor in the region of the right kidney but even then no one could imagine what hardships would wait for them in the future.

The final diagnosis of “cancer” stunned everyone, especially the mother. It seemed no salvation was possible; it was the end of everything as cancer couldn’t be defeated.
In a seemingly hopeless situation the mother was saved by her little boy. He came up to her, took her hand and said: “Mom, don’t cry! Roma will behave well!”

The last examination in Italy confirmed that the treatment was successful and the disease went away. Still national and foreign oncologists advised to undergo additional immunotherapy with antibodies that is not performed in Ukraine.
