Easter gifts for the elderly

The Second Youth Club has been working with lonely elderly people who have been left without the support of children and relatives for more than 20 years. These people most often lack communication, they lose interest in life, start to get sick, therefore they are at risk of falling into social isolation. To prevent this terrible phenomenon, the staff of the Club comprehensively help grandparents, providing them with social and psychological support.

In the Club, elderly people meet regularly, do handicrafts and creative work, discuss pressing problems and issues, share their joys and sorrows. Project staff prepare thematic meetings, festive events. The birthday celebration, which is celebrated once a month, becomes unforgettable and very touching for its culprit.

On the eve of Easter, the fund wants to support those who limit themselves in many ways with goodies for the festive table. A piece of cheese and sausages, a dozen eggs, a jar of peas and a cake will come in handy for old people and help them prepare delicious dishes for the holiday. The amount to be collected is only 7 055 UAH. If everyone makes a charitable donation, even a small one, we will be able to collect the required amount and make our grandparents happy!
