A grocery basket for the needy during Covid-19

The COVID-19 pandemic negatively affects the financial situation of many – people with I group of disabilities, lonely elderly people, widows who independently raise children, large families, orphans, children deprived of parental care and people with confirmed COVID-19 infection.

BO "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC"» does not leave these categories of people without support, providing them with food, employees of the organization communicate almost daily with families in crisis, with lonely and frail old people who survive on scanty incomes and who, due to various circumstances unable to buy even bread, not to mention meat, dairy products and sweets. After all, such families who found themselves below the poverty line were left alone with their problems. They have become hostages of the situation and are forced to endure hunger and hardship.

For more than 18 years, the charitable organization "Charitable Foundation" Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" has not left elderly people, people with disabilities, large families, orphans, children deprived of parental care alone with their grief and problems. For a long time, the organization used its own resources to meet the primary needs of people who find themselves in LSS. Due to the crisis in the country and the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, our resources are being depleted, and the number of those in need is increasing. As a result, lonely elderly people, families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances do not have the opportunity to purchase the most necessary food products.

The help of each of you will provide food packages for lonely Khmelnitsky elderly, people with disabilities, large families, orphans, children deprived of parental care, and will help all those in need during the holidays feel less deprived of fate. Let us all together come to the aid of those people who are very much looking forward to and demanding this, because who, if not us, can do it.
