Veronika needs treatment. 5

Little Veronika is not like other children: she fell seriously ill when she was not even six months old. She began to have very long and severe seizures that lasted up to four hours and could not be relieved. Veronika spent almost the entire next year of her life in the hospital. Eventually, good doctors were found who helped identify the cause of the seizures and ways to treat them. The child began to feel better, but at an unbearable cost – she has to take handfuls of pills, each of which is more expensive than the last.

The child also began to have problems with her lungs: her larynx does not function properly, and almost all food ends up in her lungs. Because of this, the girl is constantly in the hospital with pneumonia. In her very short years on earth, the girl has been fighting an extraordinary battle for her health.

She constantly needs medication to continue this fight. Support her in this battle!
