Yulia has been fighting a serious and rare cancer for more than 8 years. The woman was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumours and carcinoid syndrome in 2016 at the Kyiv Institute of Endocrinology and confirmed at the Israeli LISOD clinic.
In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and the Charity Operator ‘POMAGAEM’ dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.279 dated 06.09.2024, the project ‘Desperate Fight for Life’ was posted on the website of the ICF ‘UMB’ - dobro.ua - to attract donations to pay for the treatment of Yulia Kutakova.
During the fundraising, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace - dobro.ua - to purchase medicines for the woman. Therefore, according to the letter No. 540 of 19.09.2024, we received the collected UAH 8,276.00 (eight thousand two hundred and seventy-six hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued to collect on the dobro.ua platform. Another UAH 19,200 (nineteen thousand two hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) was credited to the Fund's account on 22.10.2024, according to letter No. 606 of 22.10.2024.
In 2024, we supported the woman with the necessary medicines for a total amount of UAH 17,904.02 (seventeen thousand nine hundred and four hryvnias, 02 kopecks).
The entire amount needed to pay for Yulia's treatment was raised on two information platforms: CO ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and CF ‘Pomogayem’, we asked to close the collection, reduce the amount of the project on dobro.ua to the actual amount of UAH 38,121.96 (thirty-eight thousand one hundred and twenty-one hryvnias, 86 kopecks), and transfer UAH 10,645.96 (ten thousand six hundred and forty-five hryvnias, 96 kopecks) to the Foundation's account to pay for the woman's treatment.
In February of this year, we purchased the necessary medicines for Yulia for a total of UAH 9,571.98 (nine thousand five hundred and seventy-one hryvnias, 98 kopecks).
Yulia continues her treatment. The numbness in her arm and pain in her spine continue, but with lesser severity. The woman is undergoing oncological anticancer treatment for neuroendocrine tumours and carcinoid syndrome. Every day she takes medications to support the functioning of her organs, adrenal glands, parathyroid glands, kidneys, liver and others.
We plan to use the remaining unused funds in the amount of UAH 10,645.96 (ten thousand six hundred and forty-five hryvnias and 96 kopecks) to meet Yulia's needs in 2025.
We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help, and the UBB team for their long-term cooperation!
