Feel the taste of childhood. 2
The history of the baby's disability began during pregnancy, when on ultrasound the doctor saw enlarged stomachs of the brain and the question was already diagnosed with a congenital malformation. The gynecologist who was watching suggested an abortion, but the mother couldn't even think about it...
However, could a woman who already has a rounded tummy and who began to feel the tremors decide on the first option? Of course not, she made the decision to give birth.
"Our son chose us as parents for a reason, he knew that we would not leave him and would help him get back on his feet," says the boy's mother. The newborn baby was named David. He is now 5 years old and has a congenital brain anomaly, lower paraparesis and gross cognitive disorder syndrome. The first year of his life, David's parents did not know about the need for rehabilitation, they simply lived, loved and raised their son, thereby wasting precious time.
When the boy was one year old, he could not sit, crawl and stand on his own. Then the parents realized that their son needed the help of specialists. From the very beginning, they did not even want to give David a referral for treatment, arguing that the boy had a congenital defect, and now nothing can be fixed. However, persistent parents did not give up, and still began the rehabilitation of their son. After several such courses, David began to crawl and stand on his own, better understand his parents, pronounce the first sounds and syllables, and also walk by the hand and keep balance.
David really wants to learn how to talk with other children, run and play with peers, feel the taste of childhood... But for this he needs to undergo systematic rehabilitation courses, and the boy's parents do not have the funds for this. We call on all kind people to support David, your support will help him start a new course of treatment!
