Due to the outbreak of the full-scale invasion and rocket attacks on Kyiv, Maksym's future mother had to leave the capital and give birth in Uman. On April 6, 2022, 4.5 kilogram Maksym was born. The birth was very difficult, and the umbilical cord wrapped around the baby's neck twice. The boy suffered severe hypoxia and sustained a brain injury, which is why he is now severely retarded. He spent the first 7 days of his life in the intensive care unit, and the next few weeks in the neonatal pathology department.

As a result of his experience, Maksym was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and structural epilepsy in the form of asymmetric epileptic spasms.

Now the boy is a year old, and he spends almost all his time in rehabilitation centers and hospitals. Maksym makes a huge effort every day to recover and learn something new. His family supports him as much as they can. Unfortunately, their financial resources are running out. "I really believe in my son's full recovery, but for this we need to continue rehabilitation, which requires constant considerable expenses," says Maksym's mother.

"Dear friends, this small but so courageous boy really needs our financial support. Together we can raise funds to pay for a new rehabilitation course for Maksym. Help him to recover!
