Maksym was born after a difficult delivery, complicated by the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, which led to hypoxia and brain injury. The first days of the baby's life were spent in the intensive care unit, and the following weeks – in the neonatal pathology department. Nevertheless, the boy did not give up and survived, but the path to recovery was difficult. The consequences of the injury caused a developmental delay and a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and structural epilepsy.

During the first year of his life, Maksym underwent many treatment courses in various hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Each new rehabilitation is a chance for improvement, but also a significant expense for the family. Thanks to your support, Maksym was able to undergo another stage of treatment, after which he showed improvements: “Our Maksym, with such severe diagnoses, is diligently learning new skills. The classes with specialists relieve painful spasticity, improve coordination, fine motor skills and emotional state”.

There are still many challenges ahead, but Maksym and his family are determined to keep going. For him to continue on his path to recovery, they need our financial support for a new course of rehabilitation. Please support Maksym – together we can help him take another step towards a healthy future!
