During birth, the umbilical cord wrapped around Maksym's neck, which unfortunately caused hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) and brain trauma. The baby spent the first days of his life in intensive care and the following weeks in the neonatal pathology department. Despite his critical condition, Maksym survived, but the consequences of the trauma manifested themselves in the form of developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and structural epilepsy.
During his first year of life, the boy underwent a considerable number of medical procedures in various hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Each new course of treatment is an opportunity for improvement, but at the same time, it is a significant financial burden for the family. Thanks to the support of caring people, Maksym got a chance for another round of rehab, after which there were noticeable changes: the boy's muscles got stronger, and he started showing more emotions. Now Maksym is actively working on his sitting and crawling skills, but he can't do it without qualified help.
There are still many challenges ahead for the little boy, but Maksym and his family are determined to move forward. In order for the boy to continue his treatment and development, he needs financial support for a new course of rehabilitation. Let's help Maksym together — even a small contribution will be a step towards a healthier and happier future for him.
