"I am Uliana Pcholkina, a public figure, the first world champion in karate, TV presenter. In my childhood, when I did not have a disability yet, I was vacationing every summer in a children's camp. With me always was my younger brother, who, unfortunately, has taken the disease already more than 10 years ago. We never isolated it, because of disability, he has always been a full participant in all the processes of life and leisure! From my experience, I know how important it is when children with disabilities not only learn together, but also spend their leisure time, where there are no conventions and all children are equal!

That is why I ask all those who are not indifferent to join the collection of funds for the summer inclusive camp "Vidchui". Each contribution is important and will help us all, build a common and equal future for children!".

"Vidchui" together with the Ukrainian missionary society "Light in the East ", for the fifth consecutive year, is organizing a unique inclusive tent camp for hearing impaired children, children from low-income families and simply active teenagers.

What is a campground? For some he is a temporary town, which is easy to remove at any moment. Others perceive it as an opportunity to learn many interesting things about nature. The campground is a non-stationary temporary health resort that is intended for recreation and organized rest in the natural conditions of children and young people. Unfamiliar children and teens usually study in special boarding schools, and for the most part, they live in school days all school years. In this way, teenagers are in an artificial social reserve, because they always communicate only with people "like themselves" - people who speak the sign language.

Today in Ukraine, the study of sign language is not popular among hearing citizens. Thus, after graduation, the underprivileged students in a stressful way immerse themselves in society, to which they are not used at all and have no idea how to establish communication with the sensible world. After some time, as a result, there is a huge set of complexes and fears about communication. On the other hand, hearing children and teens rarely see blind people on the street, and in order to have experience communicating with them, in general, it does not go. As a result, both sides have enormous communication problems with each other.
