Send the children to the fairy tale

Max is 8 years old. He overcame a lot of pain and violence at his childhood. He even doesn’t have a simple children happiness. We have more 15 children like Max at our Center. And any of these kids have their own pain. Help us to give them a real winter fairytale, it will return children a faith in other people and confidence that dreams come true!

We are the Sunshine Children's Center. Our Center has been helping orphans and children who have been deprived of parental care to survive and overcome the neglect, resentment, violence, and suffering for more than 15 years.

Our children need positive emotions and new experience that help them to forget all suffering they had. We organize the holidays in Carpathian mountains for them. The journey will be at February 19-23 in Izky. Children will hiding, skiing, and snowboarding.

We use the Pedagogy of Adventure method, which helps children to overcome previous negative, traumatic experiences through new, positive experiences. Pedagogy of Adventure empowers children with a feeling of dignity, develops self-sufficiency, teaches teamwork, and helps children analyze and predict the results of their actions.
The key concept of this method is adventure experience. These experiences are positive and extraordinary events in one’s life, which is very different from his or her everyday life, and permanently stored as memory. Pedagogy of Adventure allows the child to experience many positive events, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Physical, psychological, and social challenges that surface during Pedagogy of Adventure help the children to feel successful in solving life questions. Help us to pay for hotel and food for our children on this journey. We have a discount for hotel owners but the total price still is very high for us. Together we can give children positive emotions and help them to forget all the pain they had.
