War: heal the mental wounds of children

The war had an impact on all children. However, seriously ill children with cerebral palsy, autism and mental retardation suffered the most from it. They heard sirens, saw the panic and tears of adults, heard explosions and did not understand why it was so loud, they were forced to leave their parents' houses and did not know why this was happening.

Such children really need the help of children's correctional psychologists and specialists in sensory integration.

The task of these doctors is to make sure that the mental wounds of children heal and do not entail serious consequences for the child's psyche in the future. In addition, classes with psychologists are needed for children with cerebral palsy and developmental delay to progress in their emotional and mental plan. For a child with autism who does not speak, psychologists help to express emotions and desires non-verbally.

Friends, now we want to help 30 seriously ill children complete a course of 10 visits to a psychologist in Kyiv, become calmer and a little happier.
