Challenges of War: Grocery Ambulance

It is impossible to be ready for war, but it can be courageously met. Previously, this collection of the CF "POMOGAEM"  was called "Food ambulance" and concerned only families in difficult life circumstances. Now it applies to almost everyone. Ukrainian cities are bombed. Shelves in grocery stores are regularly empty. Refugees arrive to Dnipro.

From the war, as well as from any disaster, the most vulnerable categories of the population suffer first of all: families with children, people with disabilities, single mothers, families with many children. Refugees who leave their homes automatically find themselves in "difficult life circumstances".

If martial law drags on, even those who had everything in order may be left without a livelihood.

Since the beginning of the quarantine, the CF"POMOGAEM" has been collecting food and hygiene kits. For 2 years, we bought and donated 437 food packages to families for a total of UAH 262,709. The set includes washing powder and dishwashing detergent, cereals, pasta, sunflower oil, flour, sugar, canned vegetables and meat, we will also add instant pasta and cereals, if we can find it from suppliers.

The cost of a set for one family is about UAH 600, we will be able to help more than 100 families affected by the horrors of war. We want no one to starve during this time. We want moms not to have to choose: buy a bag of flour and bake pancakes or buy powder to wash diapers.
