Viktoriia is a kind, sincere, and creative girl. She loves art and engages in creative pursuits. Despite all circumstances, she tries to grow and live an ordinary childhood life.

At the age of 6, Viktoriia was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Fortunately, the disease was caught in time, which helped avoid serious complications at the onset of the illness. But from that moment on, the family's life changed completely. Diabetes is not just insulin injections or dietary restrictions. It is constant monitoring, the fear of missing a dangerous drop or sudden spike in blood sugar, nighttime checks, and worry about the child every single minute.

Living with this disease is very difficult for Viktoriia psychologically. The constant restrictions, fears, and lack of understanding from those around her weigh heavily on her emotional state. Due to a lack of public awareness about type 1 diabetes, the child lost the desire to play sports, even though she used to love it. She is currently receiving treatment from a psychiatrist and needs not only physical but also psychological support.

Viktoriia uses insulin pens and continuous glucose monitoring sensors. Blood sugar must be monitored around the clock, as any fluctuation can pose a serious danger to her health and life. Unfortunately, the disease has already led to complications. According to medical reports, the child has impaired capacity for self-care and behavioral self-regulation, which creates a risk of delayed insulin administration, inability to independently monitor glucose levels, and the danger of acute conditions, including diabetic coma.

Her parents do everything possible for Viktoriia's health and future. Both work, but the costs of treatment, monitoring sensors, check-ups, and accompanying therapy are very high, and managing them on their own is becoming increasingly difficult. That is why the family is reaching out to caring people for help: Viktoriia needs continuous glucose monitoring sensors.

Any support will make a real difference – it will help Viktoriia live, receive treatment, and not lose faith in the future!
