Heal baby souls. 2

       In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the Charitable Aid Operator, the Charitable Foundation ‘Pomahayem’, dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. 303 of 12 March 2025, the project ‘Healing Children’s Souls. 2’ was published on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – with the aim of raising charitable donations to cover the cost of psychological consultations for 35 children with disabilities.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – to pay for specialist consultations. Therefore, in accordance with letter No. 131 dated 25 March 2025, we received the raised amount of 4,975.00 UAH (four thousand nine hundred and seventy-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s account and continued the fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform. A further 3,790.00 UAH (three thousand seven hundred and ninety hryvnias, 00 kopecks) was credited to the Fund’s account on 22 July 2025, as per letter No. 302 dated 18 July 2025.
      Thanks to the funds received, in April 2025 we paid for sessions with a specialist for Nicole Kholodenko totalling 4,500.00 (four thousand five hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in September – for counselling sessions with a psychologist for Bohdan Karpenko, costing 4,265.00 UAH (four thousand two hundred and sixty-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      In 2026, there was once again a need to use funds raised on the dobro.ua website to pay for specialist services. Therefore, in accordance with letter No. 226 dated 1 June 2026, we received the raised sum of 18,310.00 UAH (eighteen thousand three hundred and ten hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the fund’s account and to continue fundraising on the dobro.ua website.
      Subsequently, in accordance with letter No. 259 dated 9 June 2026, we requested that fundraising for this project be halted, as it had not garnered sufficient public support, and that the project amount on UBB be reduced to the amount actually raised – 27,075.00 UAH (twenty-seven thousand and seventy-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      The funds raised enabled us to pay for a course of psychological sessions for five children with disabilities.
      We paid for the most recent rehabilitation in August 2026; this consisted of four sessions with a specialist for Mykhailo Harkusha, at a total cost of 3,200.00 UAH (three thousand two hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      In August this year, Mykhailo attended sessions with a psychologist at the ‘Ioan Centre’. These sessions helped the boy to better understand his emotions, interact with specialists and gradually become more attentive and focused. His mother, Yulia, noticed positive changes: Mykhailo began to carry out his exercises more diligently, listen better and participate more willingly in the sessions. It is particularly important that the sessions with the psychologist became comfortable and engaging for him — the boy happily attended the centre and gradually opened up in his interactions.
      Regular work with the specialists helped Mykhailo develop the necessary skills and take small but important steps forward. His mother noted that each session yielded results for the child’s development and emotional well-being.
      We plan to use the remaining unspent funds, amounting to 1,710.00 UAH (one thousand seven hundred and ten hryvnias, 00 kopecks),we plan to use the funds to pay for psychological counselling for children with disabilities and for administrative services relating to the project in October 2026.
