“The war has changed our lives... But we do not stop fighting for our son. Before the full-scale invasion, we were able to study with Daniel in a specialized children's center. He loved to learn, and with each lesson we saw that our boy was growing, developing, getting closer to other children. We dreamed that one day he would go to school with his peers, and the teachers said he had every chance. But the war cut everything short... The center no longer exists. Moving, stress, loss of the familiar environment – and our boy seemed to disappear into himself,” says the mother of 7-year-old Danyil, a boy with autism and speech impairment.

In general, the boy's condition worsened, and the skills he had acquired disappeared: he is relearning to do some basic things and master his emotions. Danylo also began to “run away” without responding to his mother and without looking back – just running, even on the road

“We are fighting, we are not giving up, but we really need help,” his mother adds.

Rehabilitation and correctional classes are not just words. It is a chance to bring Danya back to an active, conscious life. It is a chance to catch up with what he can still do.

The boy has already shown excellent results - he has become more attentive, he has developed a pointing gesture, he is beginning to understand speech, give objects and communicate better with adults. But without systematic therapy, the progress will stop.

We ask you to help us give Daniil a chance for the future. Now is the most important time, because with age, developmental opportunities decrease. And today, every day is important.
