Heal little Sonia. 5

Before the war, Sonia's mother fought desperately for a full life and her daughter's health: the girl is almost 3 years old, and she has a syndrome of movement disorders and developmental delay. The baby survived a cerebral hemorrhage, she did not react to the addressed speech and did not fix her gaze. Sofia also had eye problems and decreased muscle tone. The girl is recommended systematic rehabilitation courses.

The whole of 2022 was planned for Sofia – rehabilitation and classes that improve the condition of the girl. However, the war ruthlessly broke in and destroyed the peaceful life and plans of millions of Ukrainians, and this family too... They come from Kherson, which is now under temporary occupation. A woman with children was forced to flee from the horrors of war, so they went abroad. Everything they had was left in Kherson. Sofia's dad, relatives and close people, who rarely get in touch, remained there.

For the whole 5 months the girl has been without treatment, which is so important for her, without a medical examination. But, in spite of everything, Sonia is trying to take her first steps and pronounce new words. She needs qualified help and rehabilitation, so we are starting to raise funds for a new course of treatment for Sofia in the capital's rehabilitation center. And upon arrival in Ukraine, the girl will definitely pass it and please us with new achievements.
