Since childhood, Viacheslav liked to work on their family farm and take care of animals. The guy plans to become a veterinarian – to treat animals. But now he cannot go to school and prepare for exams because he is hospitalized at the Cancer Institute. Viacheslav has osteosarcoma, a tumor of the bones. He is currently receiving chemotherapy and is preparing for an endoprosthetic surgery. Viacheslav receives a prosthesis and chemotherapy drugs from public procurement but other medical materials and accompanying medications are not available. 

The family is trying to cope on their own but their resources are over. There are four children: Viacheslav is the eldest, and at home, two sisters and a brother are waiting for him. The youngest Sofiika is always looking forward to seeing him: when he comes home during pauses between treatment courses, she tries to be with him all the time to defend him from anything in the world. Viacheslav will a surgery that should save his leg from amputation. And Sofiika together with all his family members begs for help.
