He miraculously survived, but he cannot see

Already at the age of 3 months, Yaroslav was admitted to the intensive care unit. Ultrasound of the abdominal cavity showed the formation of fluid in the baby's stomach. The boy's liver failed. The doctors were unable to establish an accurate diagnosis, and in the meantime the little one was getting worse and worse. He was connected to an oxygen machine because he could not breathe on his own.

The child miraculously escaped death. During his stay in the clinic, the baby was referred to an ophthalmologist, who, after examining Yaroslava, said that he needed an operation to remove cataracts. So that the child can better develop and see the environment, and the earlier it is done, the better for him.

At the age of 10 months, Yaroslav can't do anything. He can't crawl too much, because he doesn't see where to crawl, he doesn't sit himself, only on the handles and then not for long, he constantly bends over and wants to lie down. He is very energetic, likes to be tickled and laugh. But the only thing he can do is lie on his stomach. Only toys that make a sound are played with. It gains weight very well, although it grows very slowly. Doctors think this is due to the fact that Yaroslav cannot see and there is a delay in development and muscle activity.

Yaroslav has an older brother, Nikita, who is 2 years and 1 month old. The family has significant financial problems. Mother is on maternity leave, only her husband earns and unfortunately his salary is not enough to support two small children and mother. Constant expenses for tests, doctors, medicines, diapers, formulas exhaust the family's budget. The mother asks for help in purchasing lenses for her youngest son's ophthalmic surgery.
