The birth of little Denys was difficult. Triple umbilical cord wrapping and oxygen starvation. But, fortunately, the baby survived! The boy and his mother were discharged home, and Denis grew, gained weight and developed.

However, at the age of 4 months, the boy developed a fever and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Denys started having seizures: not so severe at first, but more intense over time. When he was 10 months old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and later with epilepsy.

Now Denys is 4 years old, he is a very smart boy who understands spoken language, but does not sit, walk or roll over on his own, does not hold objects in his hands. The boy has a delay in psycho-speech development and chewing disorder. Nevertheless, Denys wants to be like all other children – to sit, walk and talk on his own, to spend a happy childhood outside with his friends. He dreams of an independent childhood, and for this he needs to undergo systematic rehabilitation courses. The family cannot pay for their son's treatment on their own, so the adults turn to us for help. Join us in raising funds for Denys' rehabilitation!
