Violetta wants to walk. 3

Little Violetta needs a course of rehabilitation to learn how to stand and walk on her own. The funds raised will go toward paying for sessions with specialists who will help her develop and become more independent.

Violetta was born in August 2022 – during one of the hardest times for her family, who were forced to leave their home due to a full-scale war. Since then, she has been overcoming challenges every day. Immediately after birth, the baby was transferred to the intensive care unit: first, surgery for a spinal hernia, then the placement of a shunt. Nearly two months in the ICU, special devices due to hip dysplasia – and all of this in her first year of life.

But Violetta isn’t giving up. She can already crawl and is trying to stand up using support – step by step, with tremendous perseverance. Her progress inspires everyone around her.

"After the last round of rehabilitation, Violetta is trying to stand on her own without support, since we hadn’t been able to do that before, and she’s also started walking better without support. We see significant progress from the rehabilitation sessions, which are so essential for us. We would like to once again sincerely thank everyone for their help in making this rehabilitation course possible," says Violetta’s mother.

The next course is another important step toward Violet being able to stand confidently on her own two feet and live a full childhood. Every contribution is real help for a little girl who fights every day and never gives up.
