Thanks to the charitable support of the mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine, we are implementing a project to purchase syringe infusion pumps for the Podilsk City Hospital.
The war in Ukraine has affected the medical field as well. Maternity hospitals are working under extremely difficult conditions, and the number of premature births has increased. These babies have immature lungs, hearts, stomachs, and immune systems. They require precise dosing of medications and fluids, which is impossible without modern equipment.
Podilsk City Hospital in the Odesa region* is the largest maternity facility in the northern part of the region, with over 500 births annually, dozens of them premature. The need for syringe infusion pumps is particularly urgent here – devices that ensure the precise administration of medications and fluids for newborns weighing less than 1 kg.
An infusion pump is not just a piece of equipment. It’s a matter of life control. It’s the confidence that a child receives exactly the right dose – the one that heals and not harms.
As part of the project, we are purchasing 2 Aitecs 2016 syringe pumps for this department.
We thank Vodafone for supporting the initiative and helping doctors save those who have just entered the world and are already fighting for their lives.
*Full name of the hospital: Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise “Podilsk City Hospital” of the Podilsk City Council of the Podilsk District, Odesa Region.
