Let's save Diana from brain tumor

Diana was diagnosed with brain tumor. The doctors were able to operate her and eliminate the part of the tumor. However already in the intensive care she slipped into a coma. Now the small patient requires intensive medical treatment. There is no required medication in the healthcare facility, so her mother has to purchase it herself. Initially the family somehow coped with the situation on their own but now they have no such possibility. The girl’s mother asks for help.

The first symptoms of the disease appeared last autumn. Periodically Diana had headaches. At the same time the artistic and active pupil became very passive and melancholic, and when she had free time she always slept. In January her condition worsened as problems with the sight occurred. Her mother was worried and took her to hospital. The diagnosis was standard – “vegetative-vascular dystonia”, “defatigation”.

The treatment brought no results. After there occurred further symptoms, such as coordination disturbances, dizziness and drop of hearing the mother insisted on brain MRI. The doctors dissuaded her from this analysis because they saw no need in it but the woman’s insistence overrode. After the tomography the tumor was revealed. The first operation was performed in Dnipropetrovsk when the shunting system was installed. This allowed for lessening the intracranial pressure, removing symptoms and transferring the patient to the neurosurgical institute.

In such a way the little Diana appeared in the child neurosurgical clinic. On the 28th of April she underwent the operation on tumor removal. Currently she stays in the intensive care. The girl needs our help.

Diana’s dream is to become a doctor. She has not decided yet what kind of a doctor but she is captured by medicine. Unfortunately, Diana had to get acquainted with doctors not in the way she wanted, the girl became a patient. And now she has to go through all aspects of neurosurgery herself. Maybe, if she experiences everything on her own then in the future we will get a real genius doctor! But she cannot cope alone, without our help!
