Let's save Ivan: a chance for independent steps

Ivan is a little hero who makes incredible efforts every day to overcome all difficulties. He was born prematurely, at 30 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 1400 grams. Vanya spent the first months of his life in the intensive care unit, where doctors fought for his life. Due to severe asphyxiation and other complications, Vanya was diagnosed with cerebral palsy with lower spastic paraparesis and severe developmental delay.

But Vanya does not give up! Thanks to constant rehabilitation with massage therapists, chiropractors, rehabilitation therapists, correctional teachers and speech therapists, his condition is gradually improving. Vanya is engaged in equine-assisted therapy and swimming, which helps him to better control his movements and reduce spasticity. Although he is not yet able to walk on his own, each session brings him closer to this goal.

Since his birth, he has faced numerous challenges, but he has never given up. Despite his condition, the boy always shows great willpower and indomitable spirit. Every day he makes every effort at the rehabilitation and therapies he attends. His perseverance and diligence are simply amazing - even when it is difficult and painful for him, he does not stop fighting and does everything possible to get closer to his dream of walking on his own.
