Save children from hard diseases

Zaporozhye Children’s Clinic №1 is in need of new medical equipment. We are raising funds to change old outdated devices with new ones. The equipment needed includes biochemistry analyzer, pulse oximeter (or oxygen saturation monitor), and machine to treat ear, nose, and throat diseases.

Modern medicine relies on high-quality medical equipment more and more. New developments allow treating children in a more efficient way as well as make diagnostic procedures go faster and give more accurate results. Of course, it does not mean there is no more need in qualified doctors, but some things can only be done with the use of special equipment. Unfortunately, such equipment is often lacking in many Ukrainian clinics. And Zaporozhye city is no exception.

Zaporozhye Children’s Clinic №1 is in urgent need of an automated biochemistry analyzer. This device would allow considerably increasing the accuracy of test results, while reducing the number of errors. Besides, it would help to cover a bigger number of little patients than is covered today, when all the tests are done manually.

Apart from that, doctors of the clinic have been long dreaming of another device – a pulse oximeter. It allows measuring the level of oxygen in blood very quickly and accurately, which is very important when treating many diseases or when providing anesthesia to patients.

As you can see, the devices needed are useful and important. The given list of the needs of Children’s Clinic is far from being complete. And we want to believe that we will find kind people – not only those living in Zaporozhye – who will help raising funds to purchase this vital equipment.
