This smiling boy is Vadym Tsapkalyenko. He is three years old, and all this time he has been fighting for the right to simply live, laugh, play, and walk like other children.

He has been diagnosed with spastic tetraparesis and developmental delay. This means that his legs and arms are constantly tense, and he cannot walk or sit on his own. But do you know what is most important? His eyes shine with hope, and he smiles every time he succeeds at something.

His mother says: "I dream of hearing him say ‘mama’ and seeing him take his first steps on his own". These are simple things for many of us, but for Vadym, they are goals he strives for every day through pain, tears, and exhausting exercises.

Treatment and rehabilitation are yielding results, but they are very expensive. Every missed session is a loss of what has already been achieved. The family is doing everything they can, but now their resources are exhausted.

We are asking for help not just for treatment. We are asking for help in fulfilling a little boy's dream – to stand on his own two feet and say his first words. Let's give Vadym a chance for a future in which he can run, play, and laugh like all children!
