In one family two children need help at the same time. The three-year old Miroslava spends all her life in the hospitals. Due to a rare and severe developmental abnormalities of the kidneys the child went through ten operations, but her condition did not improve. Renal function decreases every day, she can not wait any longer – she needs to go to Spain. Hospital Sant Joan de Deu is ready to take the child for the examinations.

«God has blessed me with two wings: a wonderful and obedient son Danil and a beautiful princess, my daughter Mira. Their names have amazing meanings and sound like “you are given peace”. However, our reality has turned out to be harsh.

It all started with my little baby-girl Mira who was diagnosed with urinary system malformation, ureterohydronephrosis on the right side (4th stage) and stricture on the left side (4th stage), and chronic pyelonephritis.

One year later my son Danil was diagnosed with sarcoma of a left thigh. Visiting his younger sister at the hospital Danil saw what hospital corridors were like. They did not scare him even when he himself had to be taken to the hospital. His greatest concern was about well-being of his little sister. Danil was also sad about giving up his favourite judo. Thanks God we have overcome many obstacles! Thanks to kind support of big-hearted people my little hero underwent surgery in the National Institute of Cancer. Later on my little daughter Mira was lucky to be operated by prof. Stakhovskiy.

Unfortunately, Mira is not doing well. Our local physicians never noticed that our daughter did not have a coccyx…My sweet baby has been living with a catheter for a year. We have gotten used to this…but Mira’s kidneys have drastically started to fail.

The only way for my Mira to survive is to raise 57 722 euros which is the cost of examination in Spain. My brave hero Danil has also to replace his leg prosthesis, so he can continue his active life.

My heart is bleeding. A bird cannot fly with one wing. These three years my family has been fighting for life of our children. There is no time to lose now. We are hoping for kind people who will support us financially and this way rescue our son and daughter! We are ready to fight but it’s very hard to do it alone.» - letter from Myroslava's mom.

On ubb.org.ua we are going to raise a part of the necessary amount for the trearment.
