Saving the hearts of Maria and Bohdana

Two children with heart disease are waiting for your help. Maria and Bogdana urgently need endovascular surgery to correct congenital heart defects. Amosov doctors perform such operations free of charge. But parents need to buy heart implants for the operation. The families of the children are low-income and cannot afford to buy implants and save their children's lives. Only we, the people who care, can help. Let's save the lives of these wonderful children together.

Kepych Maria, born on June 27, 2019, from the Stryi city, Lviv region. When the girl was 1 year old, doctors diagnosed her with a congenital heart defect – an open arterial duct. Now Mariya is 4 years old, and during an examination in Lviv, the doctor confirmed that she needed surgery to repair the defect. The girl's mother is on maternity leave to care for the child, and her father does not help. Maria's mother does not have the financial means to buy a heart implant on her own, so she turned to the Foundation for help. 

Remitski Bohdana, born on September 20, 2021, from the Onok village, Zakarpattia region. The girl was diagnosed with congenital heart disease at 6 months old. After that, the girl was constantly examined by cardiologists in Lviv and Kyiv, hoping that the hole would close on its own. But during the last examination by a cardiologist, the doctor found that, unfortunately, surgical treatment and elimination of the defect was required. The disease constantly reminds of itself: Bohdana gets tired quickly and has difficulty breathing during physical activity. The cost of the implant is unbearable for the family. The mother is on maternity leave to care for 2-year-old Bohdana and 8-month-old Sofia. And the family cannot raise funds for a heart implant.
