Kindness, radiance and creative energy really overwhelm talented Karolina Gavrelyuk. She cannot imagine his life without inspirationally sounding music, without having her thin skillful fingers touched the snow-white glossy piano keys, and spreading the music that is seemingly flowing from the bottom of her heart!

Karolina' s relatives and close friends cannot imagine a day without her cheerful singing when purity of its modulations overflows the soul with joy and warmth! But, no matter how strong the embracing love those close to her is, the cruel diagnosis dictates the terms. The girl has a secondary atrial septal defect. This means that there is a hole in the septum between the right and left atrium that prevents the normal circulation of the blood, and not only creates a lot of unpleasant consequences, but what's the worst, can lead to irreversible and sad ending if nothing is done.

Now Karolina already faces strong tachycardia, gets tired very quickly, and completely unexpected paleness herds healthy glow from her cheeks. Songs are cut off - not enough air, heart is pounding, as if it's conceived to immediately break out of her chest. Playing the piano has dropped - the hands are not strong enough anymore... the beaming eyes the little talented Ukrainian girl fill up with tears and in those eyes one can read a perhaps childishly naive but so piercingly painful thought: "How cannot I sing and play music as it's not just a fun, that's a sense of my life!".

There is only one method of treatment of this disease to date - surgical. The alternative of open operation on a heart is an operation that is conducted without deep anesthesia and section of thorax. This method is very effective, girl after setting of implant called to close the same ill-fated opening will become fully a healthy child and will never remember about those nightmares in that began to submerge her little life. But, at the same time, this method of treatment is very expensive.
