Save the heart of Anastasia Pavlova

Nastia is 6 months old. Her mother often helped sick children, because it is impossible to watch without tears when people are collect exorbitant amounts of money to save the lives of little kids. Life is very unpredictable thing. Once the grief came in their house. Now they are asked to help their daughter.

A letter from Nastia's mom:

"We are lived as an ordinary Ukrainian family. 3 years ago my husband and I got married. Two years later after marrying God gave us a little baby. We were so happy because we really wanted to have a baby. The pregnancy was normal, but during an ultrasound at 18 weeks pregnant the doctor told us the terrible news, that our girl was diagnosed with polydactyly of both hands, on each hand there was 6 fingers. It was a real shock, but in a short time we realized that it's just a visual defect that can be corrected.

At 32 weeks pregnant I was in hospital with threatened premature birth. After a two-week stay in the maternity ward I went home. But at 35 weeks the birth has started... Our girl was born on May, 28. Unfortunately, the diagnosis that we were told at the ultrasound that confirmed. Nothing boded trouble, until the next day after birth our baby has not been able to eat and the next day she was taken to hospital.

It was the most terrible 5 days of my life. My baby was taken away from me and began to hold her a full examination. For 4 days the doctors could not establish the diagnosis, and finally found the inversion of the average intestine. On Jun, 2 our girl was operated on. It seemed that all the worst already behind, but we couldn't even imagine what we have yet to experience.

But our hospital routine is not over, because Nastia was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus. When Nastia was 4 months old, in Lviv the doctors insisted on an urgent open heart surgery. We are not losing hope, I went to the survey in Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. Experts examined the girl and said that we can wait and can wait and not to do the surgery.

After arrival in Lviv the doctors operated our girl and took extra fingers on both hands. Nastia bravely withstood all the procedures. In mid-December we re-did an ultrasound to check whether there is a positive change of heart. But, unfortunately, doctors categorically insisted on an urgent operation, their words confirmed endovascular surgeon from Amosov Institute. Surgical intervention on heart is necessary in the next month. We were told that it is possible to carry out the operation using the occluder. This will greatly facilitate the operation, because they do not need to make the cut to the child, this will reduce the pain of the healing process. But all of our savings we spent on previous transactions, so we ask you to help buy the occluder. Unfortunately, we are unable to raise this amount in such a short time.
