Save Yaroslav's childhood

      During birth, Yaroslav suffered from umbilical cord entanglement around his neck and abdomen, severe hypoxia, cerebral haemorrhage, and coma. At one year and four months, doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, and severe psychomotor development delay. 
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 339 dated 13 October 2025, the project ‘Save Yaroslav's Childhood’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Yaroslav Shchukin.
      Subsequently, we sent a request to transfer part of the collected funds in the amount of UAH 17,900.00 (seventeen thousand nine hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to pay for Yaroslav's special nutrition, which was done in accordance with letter No. 651 dated 12 December 2025 and continued fundraising on dobro.ua. 
      Thanks to the funds received, in December 2025, we purchased and delivered special food Resurs Junior for the boy for a total amount of UAH 11,364.00 (eleven thousand three hundred and sixty-four hryvnias, 00 kopecks). 
      Yaroslav is feeling well, growing, getting stronger, and increasingly showing his character, especially in front of his grandmothers. He eats well, although the weather sometimes affects his condition, causing seizures to which he is very sensitive. But his mother gives him medicine on time and takes measures to help him. At such moments, Yaroslav often wants to be held, so his relatives spend a lot of time carrying him. 
      The boy is calmer at home, especially when his younger brother is around. They enjoy watching science videos about sea creatures, which they really like. In a month, Yaroslav will turn 13, and adolescence is increasingly affecting his character.
      We plan to use the remaining funds in the amount of 6,536.00 UAH (six thousand five hundred and thirty-six hryvnias, 00 kopecks) for Yaroslav's needs in 2026. The project is still raising funds.
