Save Yaroslav's childhood

    During birth, Yaroslav suffered from umbilical cord entanglement around his neck and abdomen, severe hypoxia, cerebral haemorrhage, and coma. At one year and four months, doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, and severe psychomotor development delay. 
In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 339 dated 13 October 2025, the project ‘Save Yaroslav's Childhood’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for Yaroslav Shchukin's treatment.
Subsequently, we sent a request to transfer part of the collected funds in the amount of UAH 17,900.00 (seventeen thousand nine hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to pay for Yaroslav's special nutrition, which was done in accordance with letter No. 651 dated 12 December 2025 and continued fundraising on dobro.ua. 
Thanks to the funds received, in December 2025, we purchased and delivered special nutrition Resource Junior for the boy for a total amount of UAH 11,364.00 (eleven thousand three hundred and sixty-four hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in January of this year, we provided the boy with special food Resurs Junior for a total cost of 6,536.00 UAH (six thousand five hundred thirty-six hryvnias, 00 kopecks). 
Yaroslav Viktorovich — as his parents affectionately call their son — is generally feeling well. He is growing, becoming stronger thanks to special nutrition, and increasingly showing his character, especially in the presence of his grandmothers. However, the weather sometimes affects his well-being: sensitivity to changes can provoke more frequent seizures. Nevertheless, the boy takes his medication regularly, and his parents make every effort to support him as best they can.
At such times, Yaroslav often wants to be carried by his mother, so their walks together become longer and warmer. At home, he is usually calmer, and his greatest joy is his younger brother, who is always by his side. On such days, he doesn't even need his medication. Yaroslav particularly enjoys watching scientific videos about sea creatures — it is his favourite pastime.
The boy recently turned 13, so the signs of adolescence are gradually beginning to affect Yaroslav's character. 
Currently, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the boy's needs, and the project is still raising funds.
