What is a 13-year-old girl from Odessa dreaming about? Her dream costs the price of a new Mercedes-Benz and it will increase the status of life... It will just have different priorities. Her dream won't mean to drive a nice car for show-off, her dream will let her walk, dance and enjoy life!

Problems started back in October 2012 when a bruise suddenly appeared. The girl underwent a course of massage at a time, so it caused no concerns then. Closer to the New Year day the bruise started to hurt after the New Year Day there appeared hardening on the spot. She saw a surgeon. Based on the ultrasound results the doctor assumed it was a hematoma and prescribed some ointment and pills. After one month treatment, the hardening got bigger and the pain got worse.

After the magnetic resonance imaging the girl was transferred for consultation from a children's oncologist. The girl was diagnosed with bone cancer. Aggressive treatment, 5 surgeries. She endured everything. It's the four years of remission, but the struggle for saving her leg is still on. Lera is being prepared for getting a German "growing" modular endoprosthesis. Should she get it, this endoprosthesis will be "growing" with Lera as it has a sensor which will automatically extend the endoprosthesis inside.

At the moment a temporary spacer holds a place for this endoprosthesis. Unfortunately, the temporary spacer cannot stay in long, so to save her leg the surgery's deadline is May-June 2017! On the UBB website, we collect only part of the necessary amount.
