Saving Our Defender's Son

      When Daniel was admitted to intensive care, the doctor told his parents: ‘His condition is serious, but the child is holding on bravely. And you pray!’ Daniel is a real fighter, he coped. The boy returned home with a diagnosis of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange International Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 342 dated 15 December 2025, the project ‘Save the son of our defender’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting donations to pay for the treatment of Olefir Danyil. 
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds collected on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation (dobro.ua) to purchase some of the sensors for the young man. Therefore, according to letter No. 18 dated 14 January 2026, we received the collected amount of 7,100.00 UAH (seven thousand one hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued the collection on the dobro.ua platform. 
      In January of this year, we purchased Freestyle Libre 2 sensors for Dani for the amount of 7,100.00 UAH (seven thousand one hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      Daniil recently received his driver's licence after successfully passing his exam. He is currently undergoing a medical examination to re-register his disability group and is undergoing inpatient treatment in the city of Dnipro. He is actively looking for a job. 
      His mother writes to us: ‘We are sincerely grateful to you for the support you provide to people like us. Your help is extremely important.’
      Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the young man's needs, and the project is still raising funds.
