Unfortunately, there are more and more children who are born prematurely. They appear tiny with small lungs and want to breathe deeply. It is vital to monitor the pulse of a premature baby constantly, since the pulse is very weak. Conventional medical equipment is not suitable for such patients. We need special extra-sensitive devices for monitoring pulse and oxygen saturation for newborns in the Neonatal Center of the Ternopol Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.

A prematurely born child needs not only the tender and constant love and care of the parents, but also the control and support of the vital functions of the body – breathing and heartbeat. Due to the immaturity of the body in children very often there are disorders of these functions, up to respiratory arrest and heart failure. Monitoring (control) of these functions is possible with the help of special medical devices – pulse oximeters. The duration of pulse oximetry depends on the maturity of the child, the nature of his disease. The child lives, grows, develops under the control of a pulse oximeter.

In the process of nursing each premature baby, you need to use a pulse oximeter. Existing technologies will save the life and health of our youngest children.

Your help to the project is the life of a premature baby. Support the project, and let the heart of every baby beats!
