"Polycystic kidney disease" handed down from mother to him. At early age everything was good, but since 2005 kidneys gradually began to refuse, and as a result, priest was often hospitalized. In 2010 the kidneys completely refused to perform their function and because of this priest started dialysis therapy (apparatus "artificial kidney '). For the past 5 years, first twice, and then three times a week he rides to the White Church on this procedure, which lasts up to 4-5 hours. Unfortunately, people can not live without kidneys, and dialysis three times a week (not cures, but prolongs life) disables and weakens the body. There is only one way - transplantation.

In October 2015, urgently has been resected the left kidney because began serious bleeding from cyst that burst. Now, doctors need to resect also the right kidney, and provide transplantation. Family thought that as a donor can be the father of priest, but detailed examination found that it is impossible. So there is no relative donor. Clinic in Belarus has agreed to provide transplantation with their own donor. The cost for transplantation is 60 thousand USD and 5 400 USD for examination. Priest Ioann wants to live like all people, be independent from dialysis, because he can not even go nowhere outside his region for more than two days. This is the only way not having relative donor to save the life of a priest!
