Save Sergiysky's vision

Active, courageous, smart and cheerful this is Serhiiko Ivanov. This boy is from a large family from the Vinnytsia region. In addition to Serhiiko, the mother has two more children: 7–year-old Sasha and Maxim, who is 2.9 years old. Serhii is in 2nd grade. Like all boys, he likes to drive soccer and ride a bicycle. He loves fishing with her grandfather. "There is a desire for learning", writes Serhii’s mother. "But every day the vision decreases and does not allow to develop fully". 

The boy has a congenital cataract. Until five years of age, the disease did not manifest itself. The fact that Serhiiko had eye problems became known by chance. Relatives began to notice that the boy began to take a closer look at everything, and then even closer. When mother and son went to the doctor, they said after the examination that the child had such a deficiency from birth. And the only way out is a lens replacement operation in both eyes, which they plan to carry out in the capital's Okhmatdet, in the Eye Microsurgery Center. Now the most important thing is to operate the eye so that the child does not lose sight.

The mother specializes in computer typing. Now she is on maternity leave with her young son and cannot cope with expenses on her own. "We ask you for help," – the boy’s mother appeals to caring people, – so that Serhii can better see and enjoy life."
