A boy from a large family, Serhii Ivanov, is already familiar to UBB donors. He lives with his mother and two brothers in the Vinnitsa region. Serhii is trying very hard to keep up with his peers, but cataracts of vision prevent him from living fully. An eye disease acquired at birth threatens the child with complete loss of vision. Thanks to donor support, one eye has already been operated on. There is still a little more - to operate on the other eye and the boy will get a chance to forget about his illness.

Seryozha is in the 3rd grade. He tries, does not want to lag behind the children. Despite his illness, the boy finds a common language with all the children at school, and in his free time at home he plays with his younger brother. His mother thanks all the caring people who helped the family undergo lens replacement surgery. The operation was successful and without complications. Serezha is now undergoing treatment and every day he sees better in his operated eye. But with the second eye he has the same problem – his vision decreases. To see something, the child squints and presents objects very close to his eyes.

Serhii's mother is a computer typing operator. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find work in their specialty in their town. Therefore, my mother got a job as a salesman. The family is unable to cope with the cost of the operation on its own and asks for help.
