Saving Sergiy's eyesight. 3

We have written about Sergiy Ivanov more than once. The boy has had a very difficult problem with his eyesight since birth. Both of his eyes are affected by cataracts. Because of this, he can hardly see anything. At the expense of benefactors, Sergiy underwent surgery on his left eye. The operation was successful, and the boy began to see at least in one eye. When it was time for the second surgery, on the right eye, the child was again examined by ophthalmologists. Unfortunately, the left eye was not doing well again. Sergiy was diagnosed with secondary cataracts, and his left eye had to be operated on again.

Since childhood, Serhiy was cheerful and active, playing soccer and other sports. He enjoyed going fishing with his grandfather and had friends. But as he grew older, Sergiy became withdrawn. Children at school began to bully him. Because of this, the boy began to have a lot of complexes, because he can hardly see anything. Sergiy rarely goes out, he prefers to spend time at home doing puzzles. His former desire to learn is fading away every day. He cannot develop fully, and he is morally depressed by this.

At the moment, even one surgery requires considerable money. The boy lives with his mother, grandfather and two younger brothers. The family has no money for Sergiy's treatment. Surgery can restore the boy's sight, but the family's only hope is for outside help.
