"On the eve of the New Year 2018 and Christmas, all parental and maternal prayers, intentions, hopes, most precious dreams and desires are directed at our only six-year-old daughter Katia. From her very birth, we persistently, not regretting our own strength and health, have been struggling with a serious diagnosis – cerebral palsy. During this time a lot has been experienced and passed...

Behind are the rehabilitation courses at the ICWL in Truskavets, treatment at the Aquarel Center for Rehabilitation and Recreation in the city of Skadovsk, Kherson region, where Katyunya took a course of dolphin therapy and mud treatment. All this, as well as taking medicine, hippotherapy, regular swimming in the pool, constant classes at home and at the rehabilitation center at the place of residence gave significant positive results: significantly decreased muscle tone; she can hold her head higher and longer, while she was lying on the abdomen and sitting with the support of an adult; much better she moves her feet into the correct position; more confidently and more consistently stands with support; the volume of active and passive movements has increased; the girl tries to sit down from the lying position independently; she has improved her fine motor skills (longer and better holds objects).

Katia becomes more active, more contacting, more patient and more attentive. She understands the language much better and has already started to respond "in her own way" to our appeals. We are satisfied with the results of rehabilitation this year. Because, despite the active growth of the baby, we gradually - step by step move forward. In order not to lose the achievement of the previous treatment and to get closer to the goal - Katrusenka's recovery, the systematic, at least three times a year, rehabilitation should be continued. Therefore, next year we will endeavor to undergo 2 courses of intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation at the ICU in Truskavets because the treatment in this institution was and remains the main and most effective for Katia", said Katia's parents.

We are convinced that we will have enough patience, strength, and endurance. But, due to the rapid and dramatic increase in prices for everything that is most needed, the family does not have the funds for the implementation of extremely important and vital activities for our daughter. We ask for financial help exclusively for treatment, and travel, accommodation, and the food is paid by the family at its own expense. We believe that parents' prayers and good deeds of indifferent, sensitive people can create a real miracle for our Katrusen'ka. We hope for human understanding and support.
